Will thrives where policy, research, and communications intersect. He has a talent for taking complex issues, uncovering what matters most, and turning insights into clear strategies and compelling stories that move audiences to action.
At True Blue, Will leads the firm’s research practice while helping clients navigate some of today’s toughest public affairs issues—from public lands and energy policy to housing, infrastructure, and economic development. He oversees audience research, message testing, strategic planning, communications strategy, content development, and campaign evaluation, helping businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and coalitions make smarter decisions and communicate with clarity, credibility, and purpose.
Known for his thoughtful approach and sharp analytical mind, Will combines rigorous research with strategic communications to help clients understand what audiences think, why they think it, and how to inspire meaningful action. Whether synthesizing complex policies, developing messaging frameworks, evaluating campaign performance, or solving difficult strategic challenges, he brings curiosity, precision, and a steady hand to every engagement.
Before joining True Blue, Will worked on housing policy for underserved communities with the Housing Authority of Snohomish County and the Alliance for Housing Affordability. He holds a master’s degree from the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance at the University of Washington.
Outside of work, Will enjoys cooking ambitious meals, bringing old junk back to life, and keeping his kid—who appears to have more energy than the sun—out of traffic.
